This 3 day Selous wildlife safari in Tanzania shall take you to selous game reserve which is one the largest faunal reserves in the world. There are no permanent structures on human habitation within the reserve which offers the best untouched wildlife experience. There is a large population of Elephants, Buffalos, Hippo, Crocodiles, and endangered dogs. This safari is accommodating; there is a possibility of adding an extra day or tourist destination like Zanzibar.
Day1: Dar es Salaam to Selous game reserve.
Early in the morning, you shall meet with our guide and drive to Selous game reserve. The journey is expected to last for 5 hours. Be expectant to get out of your safari because as soon as you arrive in the afternoon, you will transfer to the river bank for a boat cruise where you shall witness beautiful sunset experiences along the River Rufiji and several hippos, crocodiles and birds in their natural habitats. Later, you shall transfer to African Safari Camp for dinner and accommodation.
Day 2: Selous Game reserve.
Early in the morning, you shall transfer to selous game reserve for a full day game drive with your lunch box. The reserves are populated with wildlife and expect to have an amazing experience.Commonly seen are pride of Lion, Bush buck, Impala, Warthogs, Ostrich, Giraffe, Eland, Baboon, Zebra, Hyena, Kudu, rare sable antelope and Leopard. You shall have your lunch in a tree shade overlooking River Rufiji. After the game drive, you shall transfer to Africa Safari Camp for dinner and accommodation.
Day 3: Selous Game Reserve to Dar es Salaam.
Early in the morning, you shall do walking safari with an armed ranger and after breakfast, you shall drive back to Dar es Salaam where you shall be dropped at the airport or seaport. This shall mark the end of your journey.
