Ruaha national park is the largest national park in Tanzania. The park is situated in the southern part of Tanzania and it offers one of the best game viewing experiences. The great Ruaha River which flows through the park attracts wildlife within the park and you shall be assured to have a great journey. This luxurious safari shall pamper you with all the best luxuries, you shall be able to fly from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha and all the accommodations shall be highly catered for. This safari can be extended to Zanzibar.
Day 1: Dar es salaam to Ruaha National park.
You shall fly from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha national park. The flight shall be organized depending on the scheduled time but you shall be expected to fly early in the morning. There are two airstrips near Ruaha national park- Msembe airstrip at Msembe and Jongomeru airstrip near the jongomeru ranger post; you will likely land on one of the two. On arrival, you shall proceed to the park for a full day game drive. You shall be provided with a lunch box. Later on in the evening, you shall drive to Ruaha River Lodge for dinner and accommodation.
Day 2: Ruaha National park.
Early in the morning after breakfast, you shall drive to the park for a full day game drive. There are several experiences to view especially along the Great Ruaha River. Expect to view wildlife like East Africa Cheetah, lion, African leopard, wild dog, spotted hyena, giraffe, hippopotamus, African buffalo and Elephants, and others. In the evening before dust, you shall drive back to Ruaha River lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 3: flying back to Dar es Salaam.
This is the last day of the safari and you shall fly back to Dar es Salaam depending on the scheduled time
